Let’s put some things into perspective:
the only things required for a valid Mass are a validly-ordained priest in communion with a validly-ordained bishop in communion with his Pope or Patriarch, bread and wine, and the Institution narrative as contained in II Corinthians.

ALL ELSE is man-made, and mutable.

No, it’s not written by me although it could be! :D

It is one voice within a larger discussion on how fanatical one needs to be in regard to the rubrics of Mass. Yet it does raise a very interesting theological question with practical consequences: at what point (within a normal context) would you walk out/not receive at Mass?
